A maternity photographer who makes it easy

Celebrate this season, just the way it is

Miranda Rae is a maternity beach photographer on Florida's Gulf Coast. Her sessions are relaxed and unhurried: walking along the water, hands on the bump, quiet moments with your partner and sweet ones with big brothers and sisters. You don't need to know how to pose. Miranda guides you the whole way and keeps you comfortable.

Most moms come for sunset or sunrise, when the light is soft and flattering. Whether you live here or you're on a babymoon, you'll get professionally edited photos in a private online gallery, ready for announcements, the nursery wall and baby's first album.

Maternity photo questions

How much does a maternity beach photographer cost?

Miranda's maternity sessions are $199 with the Beach Special: 45–60 min, 30–35 edited photos, up to 11 people, 1 location · 1 outfit change. There's a $30 travel fee for Destin, 30A and St. George Island.

When is the best time to take maternity photos?

Most moms book somewhere around 28 to 36 weeks, when the bump really shows but you're still comfortable walking on the sand. If you're traveling to the beach, plan it for whenever your trip falls and you feel good.

Can my partner and kids be in the photos?

Yes, and those are often the sweetest ones. The session covers up to 11 people, so your partner, big brothers and sisters, and even grandparents can join in.

What should I wear for beach maternity photos?

A flowy maxi dress in a soft color like white, cream, blush or light blue looks beautiful by the water and shows off the bump. A fitted dress works great too. The session includes one outfit change if you'd like two looks.

Sunset or sunrise?

Sunset is the favorite, with soft golden light and warm colors. Sunrise is just as pretty, cooler and quieter, which is nice if you'd rather beat the heat.

What if I need to reschedule?

Babies keep their own schedule. Just reach out, and Miranda will do her best to find a new date that works for you.

Which beaches do you photograph maternity sessions at?

Panama City Beach, Mexico Beach, Port St. Joe, Cape San Blas, Indian Pass, St. George Island, Destin and 30A, including Santa Rosa Beach, Seaside, Rosemary Beach and WaterColor.

How do I hold my date?

Send your date with the form above. Once Miranda confirms, a $50 deposit holds your date, and it comes off your session price.
