“Miranda is the best photographer in The Forgotten Coast. She has captured our family so beautifully every time she takes our photos. She has such a quick turn around time, great prices, and truly makes you feel comfortable in your own skin. 10/10 recommend!” — Hayley H., Facebook review

A proposal photographer who keeps the secret

You ask the question. Miranda handles the rest.

Miranda Rae is a beach proposal and engagement photographer on Florida's Gulf Coast. Planning a surprise proposal is exciting and a little nerve-racking. Miranda helps you choose the spot and the best time for the light, then blends in nearby so your partner never sees it coming.

You get the moment you kneel, the look on their face, the happy tears and the first hug, then a relaxed engagement session right after while you're both still glowing. Your edited photos arrive in a private online gallery, ready to share the news.

Proposal photography questions

How much does a proposal photographer cost?

Miranda's Surprise Proposal is $199. It includes 30 edited photos, help planning the spot and timing, discreet coverage of the proposal, engagement portraits right after, and no set time limit. Already engaged? The Engagement Session is $199 with 35+ edited photos.

How will Miranda stay hidden during the proposal?

Before the day, you and Miranda agree on the exact spot, the time and a simple signal. On the day, she's nearby looking like anyone else enjoying the beach, so your partner won't suspect a thing. When you see her ready, it's your moment.

Will my partner find out?

Not from Miranda. When you pick "Surprise proposal" on the form, Miranda only contacts you, by the phone number or email you give her. Nothing gets sent to your partner.

Should we do the proposal at sunset or sunrise?

Sunset is the favorite, with soft golden light and warm colors. Sunrise is just as pretty and the beach is usually much quieter, which is great if you'd rather not have an audience.

Which beaches can I propose at?

Panama City Beach, Mexico Beach, Port St. Joe, Cape San Blas, Indian Pass, St. George Island, Destin and 30A, including Santa Rosa Beach, Seaside, Rosemary Beach and WaterColor. Not sure where? Miranda can help you pick a spot.

What if the weather doesn't cooperate?

Just reach out. Miranda will do her best to find a new date or time that works for you, so your proposal still happens the way you pictured it.

How do I hold my date?

Send your date with the form above. Once Miranda confirms, a $50 deposit holds your date, and it comes off your session price.

The yes you'll want to see again. ♡
