“Miranda is the best photographer in The Forgotten Coast. She has captured our family so beautifully every time she takes our photos. She has such a quick turn around time, great prices, and truly makes you feel comfortable in your own skin. 10/10 recommend!” — Hayley H., Facebook review

Small beach weddings & elopements

Skip the big production. Keep every moment.

Miranda Rae is a beach elopement photographer on Florida's Gulf Coast. An elopement is a small, simple beach ceremony with just the two of you, or the two of you and your favorite people. No reception hall, no big guest list, just your vows with your toes in the sand.

Miranda helps you pick the beach and the spot, plans the timing around the best light and helps you find an officiant. On the day, she photographs your ceremony, takes family photos with everyone who came, then walks you down the beach for sunset portraits. You get 100+ edited photos in a private online gallery.

Beach elopement questions

How much does a beach elopement photographer cost?

Miranda's Beach Elopement is $549. It includes 2 hours and 100+ edited photos: your ceremony, family photos and sunset portraits, plus help choosing the spot and timing and finding an officiant. For a shorter ceremony, the Mini Elopement is $349 for 1 hour and 50+ edited photos.

Can Miranda help us find an officiant?

Yes. Miranda can help you find a local officiant who does beach ceremonies and line up the timing with them. Your officiant is booked and paid separately.

Can we book a regular photo session for our ceremony?

Ceremonies are booked as the Beach Elopement, the Mini Elopement or one of Miranda's wedding packages, so there's enough time for the ceremony, your family photos and your portraits. The shorter portrait sessions don't include a ceremony.

Should we get married at sunset or sunrise?

Most couples pick sunset for the warm, golden light. Miranda plans the timing so your portraits land in the best light. Sunrise is just as pretty and the beach is much quieter, if you'd like more privacy.

Which beaches can we elope on?

Panama City Beach, Mexico Beach, Port St. Joe, Cape San Blas, Indian Pass, St. George Island, Destin and 30A, including Santa Rosa Beach, Seaside, Rosemary Beach and WaterColor. Not sure where? Miranda can help you pick a spot.

What if the weather doesn't cooperate?

Just reach out. Miranda will do her best to find a new date or time that works for you.

How do we hold our date?

Send your date with the form above. Once Miranda confirms, a $50 deposit holds your date, and it comes off your price.

Just you, your vows and the Gulf. ♡
